YOU CAN ALWAYS FILL A BUCKET

"Crawford A Caring School Community"
Bucket Fillers is a school wide program to help build unity among classmates, peers, neighbors, and staff. It was introduced and is coordinated by our school Guidance Counselor and Anti-Bullying Specialist Ms. Herold. The incentive revolves around core values of Respect, Responsibility, Self-Awareness, Caring and Kindness. Students and staff have the opportunity to complete a form describing an act of kindness and respect someone did for another. Forms are chosen from our school  bucket weekly and read during morning announcements. Those who are recognized come to the office and select a reward for their kindness and effort. So as you go thru your day ask yourself, Have You Filled a Bucket Today? Your reward could be right around the corner.

Principal's Message

August 28, 2015

Hello Crawford-Rodriguez Families,

I hope that your summer has been relaxing and enjoyable.   The weather this summer was superb!  I eagerly anticipate the start of the new school year on Wednesday, September 2!   I can’t wait to meet all of our new Kindergarten students on Monday, August 31 during  Kindergarten Orientation which begins at 10:00 am in the cafeteria.  Over the past few weeks, it has been a pleasure to meet the students and families new to Crawford-Rodriguez and I can’t wait to see you again on the first day of school.

School Hours

School begins with students arriving at 8:35 am.  Students arriving after 8:45 am will be deemed tardy.  Students are dismissed at 2:55 pm.  If you are picking up your child from school, send in a note with your child’s teacher indicating that you will be picking up your child and arrive at the receptionist area by 2:45 pm to sign your child out of school.  Proper picture identification needs to be provided when signing out a student from school.

Breakfast and Lunch Information

Breakfast will be served on the first day of school.  The cost of breakfast is $1.65.   Reduced breakfast is $.30. Lunch is $2.85.  Reduced lunch is $.40.  The lunch menu for the month of September can be found on the district website.

Back to School Nights

Back to School night begins each night at 7:00 pm with a general meeting in the cafeteria.

Thursday, September 17 Grades K, 1 and 2

Thursday, September 24 Grades 3, 4 and 5

Looking forward to a fantastic school year!

Adriann Jean-Denis
