YOU CAN ALWAYS FILL A BUCKET

"Crawford A Caring School Community"
Bucket Fillers is a school wide program to help build unity among classmates, peers, neighbors, and staff. It was introduced and is coordinated by our school Guidance Counselor and Anti-Bullying Specialist Ms. Herold. The incentive revolves around core values of Respect, Responsibility, Self-Awareness, Caring and Kindness. Students and staff have the opportunity to complete a form describing an act of kindness and respect someone did for another. Forms are chosen from our school  bucket weekly and read during morning announcements. Those who are recognized come to the office and select a reward for their kindness and effort. So as you go thru your day ask yourself, Have You Filled a Bucket Today? Your reward could be right around the corner.

NEW!
Jackson School District Curriculum Online

We are proud to announce the launch of a new website that has a searchable database of the approved curriculum in the Jackson School District.

This resource, known as the
Rubicon Atlas Curriculum Program, provides public access to our most up-to-date curriculum, including overviews of content by grade level, unit summaries and the essential questions students are expected to be able to answer upon completion of each unit.

To get started, click on the icon above. Select the “Browse’’ tab to see a list of courses, or begin searching by grade and subject on your own.

For now, the site features our complete curriculum in the areas of English Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Physical Education and Health and World Language. This site will be a living database that will be updated as we update our curriculum to be fully aligned with state standards. (e.g. Science, Music, Art, Business, Technology).

We are proud of our curriculum and we hope you will enjoy being able to take a first-hand look at all the ways we strive to help students excel.

Principal's Message

May 20, 2016

Hello Crawford-Rodriguez Families,

NJ ASK Grade 4 Science

Grade 4 students only will be taking the NJ ASK Science test on May 25.

Dropping Off and Picking Up Students

The drop off lanes are also the fire lanes.  As posted, no car is to be left unattended or parked in the fire lanes.  When dropping your child off, he/she should depart from the car safely and then you should continue through the lane.  Cars should not be stopped for long periods of time.   A faculty member is assigned to watch your child enter the building as well as assist with the traffic flow.  Please note that you are subject to receiving a ticket if your car is parked in the fire lane.

If you need to escort your child into school, you must park your car in the parking lot, not the fire lanes.  Please be mindful that handicapped parking is for those who are authorized to use the handicapped parking area.

When picking up your child, you must park in the parking lot, not in the drop off lanes which are also the fire lanes.  You are subject to receiving a ticket if your car is parked in the fire lane.
