"Crawford A Caring School Community"
Bucket Fillers is a school wide program to help build unity among classmates, peers, neighbors, and staff. It was introduced and is coordinated by our school Guidance Counselor and Anti-Bullying Specialist Ms. Herold. The incentive revolves around core values of Respect, Responsibility, Self-Awareness, Caring and Kindness. Students and staff have the opportunity to complete a form describing an act of kindness and respect someone did for another. Forms are chosen from our school  bucket weekly and read during morning announcements. Those who are recognized come to the office and select a reward for their kindness and effort. So as you go thru your day ask yourself, Have You Filled a Bucket Today? Your reward could be right around the corner.

School Entry and Pick-up Procedures

Parents are reminded that you must present photo identification when picking up a student.  Students will not be released unless proper photo identification is produced.  Please adhere to the following protocol when entering the school.

·         At the buzzer, please state the purpose of your visit and/or whom you have an appointment.

·         You will then be buzzed in and must sign in with the receptionist as well as show photo identification.

·         It is important that visitors not hold the door open for others behind them.  Each visitor must be acknowledged individually through the buzzer system.

·         Note:  If you are picking up your child early or at dismissal, it is necessary to send in written notification stating the time of pick-up.  This is to ensure your child is prepared at the requested time.

·         If you are picking up your child from PM childcare prior to 3:45 pm, you cannot park on the bus ramp.  Howard Johnson School is dismissing at this time and you must park in the parking lot located on the lower level of the building near the main entrance.  Anytime after 3:45 pm, parking is permitted on the bus ramp.
