Here at Crawford we are Bucket Fillers. Thanks to Ms. Herold, our school guidance counselor who is committed to promoting good behavior. Each time a student/staff member does something nice to another they get to write about it in a tiny newspaper article. Each week articles are chosen to be read during our school’s morning announcements.  Students/staff who have been recognized will come up to the main office and receive a token for their kindness. Ms. Herold appreciates all the students and staff for their efforts in participating in this initiative.

Principal's Message

September 18, 2014

Hello Crawford-Rodriguez Families,

I would like to thank all the families who attended the Back to School Night events.  It was nice to see familiar faces as well as meet new families.  Your child’s educational experience will be successful with your support and continued involvement.  Our first school spirit day will be Friday, October 3.  On that day students and faculty wear any school spirit clothing or the school colors red and black to show our Wildcat pride!

NJ ASK Results:  Grade 4 and 5 Students

Students in Grades 4 and 5 will be receiving their children's NJ ASK scores from the May 2014 assessment this FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 19. They will be sent home with students in sealed envelopes. Please contact your child's school on Monday, September 22 if you did not receive the scores.

Walk to Remember

On Wednesday, September 24th, students will be participating in The “Walk To Remember” which is an event to stimulate student patriotism.   The “Walk To Remember” will remind the student population of the sacrifices that the men and women within the Armed Forces have incurred in order to maintain our freedom.  The “Walk To Remember” will also assist students in honoring any and all persons serving in the military at this time as well as those that have already served their country while in uniform.  Every student should wear red, white and blue!

The “Walk To Remember” is also an opportunity to provide a Non-Perishable Food Item(s), to benefit former homeless veterans at the BEACON HOUSES which are open to all veterans.  If you would like to donate a non-perishable food item(s), please send them in to school with your child by Tuesday, September 23.   Thank you for your donation to this worthwhile cause.
